Whistleblower
A Whistleblower is an employee or customer of a company who find out about illegal business activities without the consumer knowing about it and report it to the government. In recent years the term whistleblower has been thrown around alot because of financial misdoings. However, a whistleblower may also report discrimination, harrassment, medical, or really anything that is illegal.
Due to the danger a whistleblower could be in if the company they reported found out about their identity, whistleblowers are protected by the law.
