DSL
DSL (short for "Digital Subscriber Line") technology is a method of moving data over regular telephone lines. DSL delivers high-speed Internet accessvia telephone cables. A dedicated DSL access means you never "share" the line with other users. DSL is fast and always on.
There are lots of DSL providers. You can choose the right DSL service based on what you are looking for. DSL has become a popular alternative to ISDN and Leased Lines, being much faster than ISDN and less expensive than traditional Leased Lines.
DSL also has its counterpart ADSL, or Asymmetric DSL. ADSL could allow download speeds of up to 9 MPBS and upload speeds of up to 640 KBPS.
