The Albuquerque Arts Alliance provides communication, service, advocacy, recognition and celebration for the city's five major arts disciplines: Dance, Theater, Visual, Music, and Literary. The Alliance developed the Cultural Plan for Albuquerque and currently is the city's designated Arts Agency to implement the Plan.
The Alliance houses an Arts and Culture Resource Center that is free and open to the public during business hours. The center has a comprehensive library, free internet access, and information about the arts community. The Alliance also assists several groups active in the arts community, including the Heritage Council and the Arts in Education Tasks Force.
